Brian and Melissa

I was just lying down thinking about how when Brian and I started dating, he would drive me home after our date and call me right away when he was driving home, until he got home. Then he’d hang up and call me back once he was inside. Our dates lasted forever, we’d go out at like 5pm and get home at like 3am or later. A lot of times we’d go out at like 10 or 11 and not go home until like 5 in the morning.

Anyways, I was just remembering how after he’d call me back when he was in the house, we’d talk on the phone forever… but there’d be tons of times where we never talked, but we still just stayed on the phone for hours. Then i’d usually fall asleep on the phone. hahaha!

Usually after we’d hang up at like 4am, we’d both go one ICQ or MSN and talk to eachother until sunrise or until I fell asleep at my computer. I’d literally fall asleep in the middle of a convo (It was freaking 5am! gimme a break!), then i’d wake up a few hours later still at my computer, and i’d see messages like “Brian: hey are you there?  Brian: u there? Brian: Did you fall asleep?  Brian: omg put ch 30 on! it’s so funny!  Brian: where are you??  Brian: I guess you fell asleep. :(  Brian: K i’m gonna go to bed too. Talk to you tomorrow! (K)”.

Those were pretty much our nights for the first 2 years. Then I got my own place and well, the same thing happened except now I had a real job and had to go to bed before 5am. Boo for real jobs!

omg ok, i’ve literally been staring at my dress ALL DAY. I had the image open in a tab all day long, and I keep going back to it. I have to make serious sure it’s the right decision. It’s a huge decision!  I can’t believe I turned into such a girl.

Anyways, now i’m scamming people around the office for advice if they like it or not. I was so nervous it wasn’t as nice as I thought it was. But everyone loves it… so i’m pretty confident i’m making the right decision.

Ugh I so can’t wait to go try it on in an hour. I’m totally seriously going to wear it around the house, just for fun. Because  I love it.

Today after work I’m going to buy my dress, I think. I keep thinking I should try on more, but I dunno if I should. I really love this dress, so I dunno. I’m bringing Jodi with me, because I need one more opinion. So far my mom loves it, Brian’s mom loves it, and I love it… but I may just love it because they love it. I dunno. No no, I do love it, forget it. But I just need to see if one more person likes it or not. So tonight after work we’re all going.

The engagement party is almost here. We can’t wait! It’s gonna be so nice to see friends and family all together, (even if my family isn’t really there. =/) I hope more of my family comes to the wedding though… we based our minimum numbers on all the people we were gonna invite, minus like 15%. So we figured that’d be safe, as that’s what everyone does. So we’re both kinda worried that we may not hit the number we need, and then end up paying for them anyways. Which is really gonna suck. We’re trying to add on more friends and stuff, but I still want a lot of my family there…. if you’re my family and you’re reading this… what the hell guys?

Still a few more wedding things to do, we still need to find a band, a photographer/videographer, get our invitations, cake, and florist. It’s gonna get busy again so soon.

Some crazy condo stuff happened and now the condo is for sale unfortunatley. But we think it’s gonna be nice, because now we can plan this wedding and not have to deal with a condo or a move. Originally the plan was to sell this in the summer and move around July/August. But that’s so close to the wedding, it’s too much to do. So it’s gonna be nice to sell and move and get it all over with next month. Hey, and now we’ll have room to store any presents we get!

We picked out the Bridesmaid dresses yesterday. It was all pretty quick and easy. All my bridesmaids are super pretty, everyone is gonna look amazing! I can’t wait!!!!

I tried on that dress yesterday, the one I found last weekend that everyone raved about. But then I realized I didn’t like it anymore. Then Jodi (my bridesmaid and Brian’s sister) also told me it wasn’t super nice. So, I went and tried on a lot more, and found a really amazing one. I later the next day (today) went back and tried on the new one I loved yesterday. And realized I really did love it. Because now I was able to eliminate other dresses, because I found one I really loved.

So i’m pretty confident so far that i’m gonna get that one. I’ve ask Jodi to come with me though on Thursday to check it out. I have only my mom and Brian’s mom with me when I try on these dresses. And I totally love this dress, and so does my mom and Brian’s mom. But… I need one more person’s opinion, especially one who hasn’t seen me in many dresses yet. So now i’m just waiting till Thursday. I seriously can’t wait!!!!!!!!!!

I’m a tiny bit anxious to find a dress now. I know time is running out. And i’m kinda sick of being topless for three hours every saturday and sunday morning while trying everything on. lol.

We still don’t have many RSVP’s, so that sucks… we really wanna know who’s coming! But I guess we’ll have to wait till march 2nd. Boo!
