Brian and Melissa

We haven’t written anything in a while, we’ve been so beyond busy it’s like not even funny. So, while Brian is sleeping, and I’m waiting for him to get up so we can go get breakfast, i’ll take this time to write every update I can.

Last Sunday was my bridal shower, it was a lot of fun, lots of good food and we got really amazing gifts. It was really nice, I hope everyone enjoyed it. I have to finish sending thank you cards, so that’s what i’ll be doing today i think. I hate people who don’t send out thank you cards, so i’m super on top of that.

Yesterday was my friend Amanda’s wedding. It was crazy because we’ve been planning our weddings together, so to see hers come to life was super scary for me. I was like omg so this is what happens! I know that doesn’t make sense, but to me it does.

It was literally one of the nicest weddings i’ve ever been to, and her and Josh look so amazing together. I don’t have any pics because i don’t have a camera, but I think Brian took some so i’ll post how pretty she was soon. But yeah, it was really beautiful.

It’s so scary, cuz all our countdowns are coming to life. Like we were saying, once this happens that means the wedding is on x days away, and once this happens the wedding is only x days away, etc… so Amanda’s wedding was, actually let me backtrack. Guin’s awesome wedding which is on my top 3 list of weddings, her wedding we were like k, omg after Guin’s wedding, ours is only 2 months away or something. And Amanda’s after hers, it’s the last wedding, then it’s ours! EEK!

Did I write about our honeymoon yet? I don’t think i did… so we are trying to find a nice hotel in toronto for after the wedding, but so far we can’t find anything. We wanted The Hyatt or the Four Seasons, but for two nights they are the price of our whole honeymoon. haha. so they’re out. So the plan is, two days in a hotel in Toronto, then 3 days in Los Angeles (and maybe we’ll skip to vegas for one day), and then a week in Cabo San Lucas. We can’t wait, it’s gonna be such an awesome vacation. Not because of where we’re going, but it’s gonna be nice to just be on vacation and not have to think about planning anything anymore. No more condos, houses, cars, weddings, etc… just lying on the beach with nothing. LOL WE’RE GONNA BE SO BORED!!!!

So tonight is Brian’s bachelor party, he’s going to Dave and Buster’s, and i’m assuming a strip club afterwards. I’m super excited, he’s gonna have so much fun! I wish I could go! hehe.
I’ll let him write more about it though.

I guess that’s it. THREE WEEKS LEFT! *barf*.

I love the wedding so much right now!!!!

K so this weekend my awesome Bridesmaids have set up a high tea for us all to go to at The Royal York. I’m like beyond excited!!!!!!!!!!!! Then in August Brian’s aunt Lynda and Darlene are throwing me a bridal shower. It’s so wicked!! It’s weird having a party planned for you and not getting to be involved in it. That’s never happened to be me bfore… but I cna’t wait! I totally love his family!!

Then on August 15th my friend Jackie is throwing me a bachelorette… it’s gonna be a nice clean drunken time.

Anyways here’s the big news….. MY DRESS IS IN! I am going for a fitting on Wednesday. However, I don’t have shoes yet!!!!! So I said I can’t go, cuz they said I needed shoes. Then they asked me if I just wanted to come to try it on for fun. LOL AS IF I’D SAY NO TO THAT! The thing is, it’s perfect timing, cuz I’m totally going through wedding dress withdrawl, I think what I bought is way too much. But I know once I put it back on i’m gonna fall in love with it again. So I can’t wait till Wednesday!! I still can’t find shoes no matter where I look. I’m going to Vegas next weekend and i’m assuming I will find shoes there. Cuz it’s Vegas! Also in Vegas i’m gonna buy Brian’s wedding ring… I know exactly which one I wanna get him. I’ve known for years. HAH and so has he. Oh and I think brian is having a bachelor party in August too. I don’t know any details yet though.

OH AND I finally found a make up artist I like.

AHHHHHH I”M SO EXCITED FOR MY DRESS, BRIDAL SHOWER, TEA, AND BACHELORETTE. I’M LIKE FREAKING OUT EXCITED. ANYWAYS, if anyone wants to come to my fitting on Wednesday let me know! I totally need people there to tell me how it looks… I haven’t seen the white one on me yet, so I hope I made the right decision.
