I think we are set on having vegetarian-only food at the wedding. That way, it is automatically kosher, and we don’t have to spend a lot of money on food. Because we can save half the cost, we can focus on having it at a venue we really want, instead of a synagogue, which we don’t feel 100% comfortable in. Plus, people don’t need to eat meat all the time! There are some great vegetarian dishes out there.

We still have to register for stuff. It weird me out when I think that, because we pretty much have everything we need! We have nice dishes, appliances, utensils, and whatever else. The only things I can think of at the top of my head are nicer towels, really good pots and pans, maybe a bread maker, and perhaps little things like spatulas and ice cream scoopers. But that’s not a lot of stuff. So many people I know register for too much, and it all ends up in their parents’ basements because there’s no room in their own kitchens! What’s the point of registering for stuff you’ll never use? I guess some people are just registration gun happy! Cash is always good. Mmmmmm cash.
