blech 13 days! It’s pretty insane. Actually, last night for the first time I wasn’t even nervous I was actually excited. I was like OMG i’m gonna be married in 13 days! pretty awesome. But still whenever anyone mentions it, i almost throw up… so that’s intense. haha. i’m a loser.

Anyways…I had my final fitting two days ago, and I also got to buy a veil. they asked me if I wanted to come back next week to pick up the dress or if I wanted another fitting. I chose another fitting. for two reasons. 1. I want new shoes, my shoes are retarded and I can’t wear them. 2. I dont wanna bring the dress home yet.
HOWEVER I did bring the veil home Friday night. It’s been so hard not to show Brian!! Like, I can’t not. So I caved yesterday, walked in the door and said “OMG wanna see my veil” i’m so stupid. He’s like yeah! so I showed him and then freaked out and was like “OMG I”M SORRY FOR BEING SUCH A GIRL” Cuz i was totally being a girly girl. Anyhoo, I didn’t put it on… I wanted to, so I could show him. One of us did put it on though…

What else… ummm oh yeah. We finally booked the Hyatt. thats where we wanted to stay originally, but it was super expensive. And then all the other hotels we found were crappy, or too expensive too. So we didn’t know what to do. Then we called the Hyatt and got a cool deal, so now we’re staying there for two nights. Then we go to L.A.! Then to Cabo! it’s gonna be insane. We’re both so looking forward to having a vacation and just relaxing.

OH I forgot… so I had a hair trial with a stylist that a coworker recommended. She was really nice, but said she didn’t want to do my hair the way I wanted it for a few reasons. She also recommended I not wear a veil, and instead wear flowers. She made it sound really nice.

Then I get out of the hair place, tell Brian what she said and he’s all “uhh, but thats not what you wanted” and i’m like all yeah but what i wanted wont work. then I told my wedding coordinator and she got all like “thats not what you wanted! Get waht you want!” and im like IT WONT WORK! and she’s like it doesnt matter, get what you want, it’s your day. And then I was thinking about it more and more, and who the hell is this stylist to tell me not to wear a veil and stuff? So annoying!
I really wanted to wear a veil! (LOL which is funny because I was so anti veil when this first started 7 months ago, but I turned into this princessy crappy girl and now can’t get enough of it).
Anyway, so now i need a new hair stylist, but there aren’t any! I can’t find anyone in 13 days! I’m freaking out. I’m doing that thing when a bride frreaks out! And I haven’t done that once yet this whole 7 months, cuz I don’t really care. BUt this time I care because now I have no one to do my hair. I emailed my coordinator and she’s really amazing she’s like “k don’t panic! We’ll find someone” But so far, I haven’t. and everyone is closed today.

Alright, I gotta go find shoes again!

We haven’t written anything in a while, we’ve been so beyond busy it’s like not even funny. So, while Brian is sleeping, and I’m waiting for him to get up so we can go get breakfast, i’ll take this time to write every update I can.

Last Sunday was my bridal shower, it was a lot of fun, lots of good food and we got really amazing gifts. It was really nice, I hope everyone enjoyed it. I have to finish sending thank you cards, so that’s what i’ll be doing today i think. I hate people who don’t send out thank you cards, so i’m super on top of that.

Yesterday was my friend Amanda’s wedding. It was crazy because we’ve been planning our weddings together, so to see hers come to life was super scary for me. I was like omg so this is what happens! I know that doesn’t make sense, but to me it does.

It was literally one of the nicest weddings i’ve ever been to, and her and Josh look so amazing together. I don’t have any pics because i don’t have a camera, but I think Brian took some so i’ll post how pretty she was soon. But yeah, it was really beautiful.

It’s so scary, cuz all our countdowns are coming to life. Like we were saying, once this happens that means the wedding is on x days away, and once this happens the wedding is only x days away, etc… so Amanda’s wedding was, actually let me backtrack. Guin’s awesome wedding which is on my top 3 list of weddings, her wedding we were like k, omg after Guin’s wedding, ours is only 2 months away or something. And Amanda’s after hers, it’s the last wedding, then it’s ours! EEK!

Did I write about our honeymoon yet? I don’t think i did… so we are trying to find a nice hotel in toronto for after the wedding, but so far we can’t find anything. We wanted The Hyatt or the Four Seasons, but for two nights they are the price of our whole honeymoon. haha. so they’re out. So the plan is, two days in a hotel in Toronto, then 3 days in Los Angeles (and maybe we’ll skip to vegas for one day), and then a week in Cabo San Lucas. We can’t wait, it’s gonna be such an awesome vacation. Not because of where we’re going, but it’s gonna be nice to just be on vacation and not have to think about planning anything anymore. No more condos, houses, cars, weddings, etc… just lying on the beach with nothing. LOL WE’RE GONNA BE SO BORED!!!!

So tonight is Brian’s bachelor party, he’s going to Dave and Buster’s, and i’m assuming a strip club afterwards. I’m super excited, he’s gonna have so much fun! I wish I could go! hehe.
I’ll let him write more about it though.

I guess that’s it. THREE WEEKS LEFT! *barf*.

We’re trying to book our honeymoon… well, ok.. first we went through the whole, Vegas is our honeymoon. But now we want a real honeymoon so I don’t care about Vegas.

Originally we wanted to go to the south of France, and then we changed it to like just Costa Rica, then California, then back to France, then a cruise, etc.. so many things. But we finally decided on going to Israel. So far.

We’ve been trying to find an Israel trip for like a week and can’t find anything. Most trips are all wierd and Christian trips. We don’t want a Jewish trip or a Christian trip or anything… we just want like a trip! The Christian trips are weird like they do a lot of Jesus stuff that we could care less about, and the so far i’m seeing the Jewish trips don’t really do any religious stuff except umm.. oh i can’t remember.. some random thing.

Anyways, we finally found this place called Peerless Travel. We went there to book something, and it was this weird office on the 2nd floor of a building housing doctors. We were directed to go to someone’s cubicle named Dolly. She was a maybe 50 year old Israeli woman. She got really angry at us.

Here’s what happened

Us: Hi, we’d like to book a trip to Israel

Lady: Ok… when?

Us: September 15 -

Lady: Until?

Us: A week maybe?

Lady: Types a bunch of crap into her old computer

Us: And we were looking for like a trip into Egypt with it. I saw on your website you had three day add ons into Egypt we were interested in

Lady: *stares*…

Us: *stares*

Lady: …. what is it that you want? (Angrily)

Us: Uh…

Brian: Um well she (me) saw on your site that you could add on egypt

Lady: Well yes you can, but that is different than what you asked me! You asked me for a flight to Israel!!

Us: Um.. ok.. so whats available

Lady: How do you want to fly?

Us; Idunno, El Al?

Lady: Well then you can’t go into Egypt, because then you are approaching into the holidays and El Al won’t fly. So now we have a problem

Anyways, long story short she was a total bitch who kept getting super super mad at us. never told us about any packages whatsoever, and then just wanted to send us on a flight to Israel!! It was crazy. she was so mad at us. Like when your parents get really mad when you ask a dumb question. It was horrible.

Anyway, if anyone knows any good trips to Israel, please…

Well there is now under three months left until our wedding. You’d think we’d have our cake, invites and band ready.. but nope.

I think we will get the cake on the weekend though. and hopefully finalize the invitations tonight. I also still need to find a makeup and hair person.

We met with our wedding coordinator two nights ago, and she’s gonna recommend someone to me. It’s pretty crazy, we laid out all the details, who’s gonna do what, who’s gonna stand where… everything. So nervous! I’m gonna throw up!

My dress fitting is in a few weeks… they said mid-july. I can’t wait… I totally forgot what my dress looks like. I mean, I know what it looks like, but I forgot what it looks like on me, so I totally can’t wait. And the bridesmaids dresses have come in also. I can’t wait to see everyone walking down the isle and stuff, it’s gonna be gorgeous! HAH ACTUALLY I guess I won’t get to see anyone walk down the isle, cuz i’ll be last. UGH.. yep gonna throw up.

I still think most of the guys haven’t gotten their suits yet. Boys are too lucky. Oh and I still need to buy shoes! I’m so lazy!

So Brian was totally stressed last week, because there was all this bullshit wedding fighting going on. I felt so bad for him. I didn’t know what to do. I just really wanted to cheer him up. He’s happy again now because everything has been resolved… BUT I also got him a spa day. Totally gay, but not really. It’s tons of fun! So tomorrow he’s gonna get all massaged up… swedish massage, foot massage, I think I also got him a “Man’s peticure” lol.. which I think is the same as a regular peticure except there is sports on the tv or something. He’s pretty excited… I hope he enjoy’s it.

We’re still trying to decide on our honeymoon too. We originally wanted to do Vegas, but because we are going there in a couple weeks, we figure we may not wanna go back so soon. I was thinking maybe Paris, or Italy or something would be nice. We’ll see.. but I guess we should book it soon.

With all this wedding talk, it’s funny how I haven’t even given one thought to one topic: Our honeymoon. Quite honestly, I have no idea where I’d want to have one!Most of my friends keep suggesting Europe, but the truth is, I really don’t have much desire to go there. I think I would like to visit England where I could visit some of my distant relatives, but I’m not sure our Honeymoon is the time to do that. Melissa suggested Japan at one point, but I’m not sure I want to visit any more big cities for a while, and I don’t think she does either. To me, a nice vacation in Japan would look like this:
