A little bit about me

I keep saying how i’m gonna throw up for this wedding. like i’m sooo beyond nervous. And everyone is like “Well you don’t have to make a speech if you don’t want to!” or “Just make a short speech” or stuff like that.

Check this out…

I DON’T CARE IF I HAVE TO MAKE A SPEECH!! I’m find with public speaking. SURPRISE!!

I’m totally fine with it, I’ve spoke in large groups many times, I’ve done serious client presentations at big corporate head offices in front of like 30 or more people. I don’t care, it’s no big deal to me. I’d MC the night if I could, and i’d make a hundred speeches, I don’t really care. In fact I like it.

I’m not shy. I know you think i’m shy, but i’m not. I just speak quietly, and don’t have much to say most of the time. But if you knew me, you’d know that when I want, i’m super outgoing.

I AM GONNA THROW UP BECAUSE……… THERE ARE FRIGGING 150 PEOPLE STARING AT ME PROBABLY CRYING WHILE I’M WEARING A BIG OUT OF MY ELEMENT FANCY DRESS, SUPER HIGH HEELS, AND ALL THAT!! AND I HAVE TO WALK DOWN THIS HUGE ISLE ALONE DOING THIS. That’s why i’m gonna barf.

Once I’m up there, I’m fine. I just need to get up there.

Ring Day

So, today I was supposed to get my ring. All day, all I could think about was getting the eff outta work and going to get it. Thankfully it was a busy day, and I didn’t have much time to dwell on it, and then the day ended.

We drove to Tiffany’s to pick it up, parked the car, went in there… waited for the lady who sold it to us. She said it was ready, but she had to go upstairs to get it. Anyways, long story short, she got it, wrapped it up in a nice little blue box and off I was. Then we went out to dinner, I didn’t even open it at that point… I wanted pics first, and it was so scary thinking about putting it on. Like, my finger has been empty for 26 years, and now I have to wear this ring forever! WTF! It’s the same feeling I had when I got my tattoo.. that permanent feeling. Not that I don’t want anything permanent, it was just a noticable change in my hand for the rest of my life (I know I can take it off, but it’s the principle). Anyways, I got over that real quick, opened the box, looked at how amazingly sparkly it was, and Brian put it on my finger.

At first I felt really old. Like my mom or something, Brian said it made him feel really old too. We’re such losers. Got used to that pretty quick too. ;-) And now I freaking love it… it’s so sparkly, I can’t even describe it. We’re so glad it’s from Tiffany’s because no other rings in the world sparkle as much as Tiffany’s (that’s fact), and that’s the reason he bought it.

Look at all the pictures!!
